Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival, Siem Reap

Welcome to Siem Reap, and start your unforgettable Cambodia tour! Before your wonderful journey begins, your warm and friendly guide will escort you to your hotel for check-in and then you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Siem Reap

Today your theme of the trip is Angkor Thom. You will arrive at Bayon Temple after passing through the south gate of Angkor Thom. Close by is the Elephant Terrace, the king's reviewing stand from which you can enjoy exquisite bas-reliefs showing a parade of elephants and other animals.

After lunch, you will continue by paying a visit to Angkor Wat. As the main landmark of Cambodia, the magnificent buildings and amazing bas-reliefs will demonstrate how prosperous the Angkor dynasty was in the past. Finally, let's lean against the broken walls of the Bakheng Temple and see Angkor Wat diving into the silence with the sunset.

In the evening, you can feast your eyes on the Apsara Show at Angkor Village Resort, but also remember to have a delicious evening meal.

Day 3: Siem Reap

In order to watch the magnificent view of the sunrise this morning, we highly recommend an early wake-up to find a good place at Angkor Wat to take fantastic photos. After having a conversation with the monks and nuns at a nearby pagoda, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, you will take a drive to the Banteay Srei, the pink sandstone temple complex with the most detailed and elaborate carvings. En route, you will stop at some local villages to get close to the local daily life of villagers.

After a tasty lunch, we will drive to the Ta Prohm Temple, where stone pillars and carvings intertwine with massive tree roots and jungle. Finally, the trip today comes to an end after your visit to the Takeo Temple.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh

This morning you still have a trip to Siem Reap. Khmer Village is your first destination, breathing fresh air and taking photos with rice fields and palm trees. After that, you can row a boat on Tonle Sap Lake which is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia until lunchtime.

In the afternoon, you will fly to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. But before that, if time allows, you can walk around Artisans D-Angkor and the Old Market.

Day 5: Phnom Penh

After breakfast, at the start of the trip today, you will go to the Royal Palace. You can enjoy the typical Khmer architecture and incredible wall murals here. Later, you will stroll into the Silver Pagoda, the best part of the Palace where the floor is made up of over 5,000 silver tiles. Have a short walk to the National Museum, where you can learn everything that you want to know about Cambodian history. After that, proceed to Wat Phnom to overlook the stunning views from the top.

In the afternoon, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung EK will reveal the bloody history of the Khmer Rouge to you.

Day 6: Phnom Penh, Departure

After breakfast, say goodbye to this ancient city. Your guide will take you to the airport for your flight back home.
