Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
    Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, and also a city that is filled with traditional Vietnamese atmosphere and historic sites!

    Upon you arrive at Hanoi airport, you will be greeted by your guide and escorted to your hotel. Have a rest in your hotel or have a glance at this fascinating city by yourself.

  • Day 2: Hanoi, Heritage Exploration
    Wake up in the morning and get indulged in the tranquil moment of Hanoi. After breakfast, you will start to enjoy a history adventure in this appealing city. Accompanied by your tour guide, you will pay a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and Quan Thanh Temple.

    In the afternoon, you will first visit the Museum of Ethnology. It is a good place for you to have an insight into the customs and habits of 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam. Next, take a cyclo ride through the narrow and lively streets of the Old Quarter to get a glimpse of the traditional Vietnamese atmosphere and culture. Then, you will walk around the Hoan Kiem Lake and have a glance at the Ngoc Son Temple. Before the end of today's tour, you will obtain a better understanding of the traditional Vietnamese lifestyle by viewing the classic Water Puppet Show.

  • Day 3: Hanoi - Sapa\
    Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel, then you will be transferred to Sapa from Hanoi. It will take about a 5-hour drive. Don't worry about it! Your driver will make stops for you to have a break en route, and the scenery along the way will also surprise you.

    Upon arrival in Sapa, check into your hotel and enjoy a short break. Later, you will go to the Silver Waterfall, known for one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country, where you will get an impressive view of the silver water gushes and plunges down from the mountain peak. The Heaven Gate in Sapa will be another place that you will visit today. As the highest road peak in the region, it will get you to marvel at the stunning Fansipan peak and let you feast on a panoramic view of the abysses below.

  • Day 4: Sapa Hiking Tour
    In the morning, you will enjoy a walking tour to discover a local bustling market in Sapa. In the market, you will feel the local lifestyle closely. Just try to find some interesting goods like ethnic silver jewelry, colorful ethnic attire, mountain fruits, etc. Besides, listening to locals bargaining in the market will also be a nice experience.

    Afterward, follow your guide to take a 3-hour hiking tour to revel in the quaint and distinctive Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, where you will meet the warmhearted Black H'mong and the Day people. Have a glance at the ethnic groups' daily peaceful life, immerse yourself in the natural mountain scenery, and view the idyllic terraced rice fields.

  • Day 5: Sapa - Hanoi
    Savor your breakfast in the hotel, then continue to enjoy your journey in Sapa.

    Make your way to discover the Ma Tra and Ta Phin Villages, and try to interact with the local H' mong and Red Dzao people here. The well-preserved culture in the villages will also get you indulged in. Taste some authentic cuisines for lunch and then your private driver will escort you back to Hanoi. Enjoy some relaxing time in Hanoi on your own.

  • Day 6: Hanoi - Ninh Binh
    In the morning, your private guide will take you to visit Hoa Lu. Being the first capital of Vietnam, it is an attractive place for history lovers to better know about the Dinh Dynasty (968-980). Next, visit Southeast Asia's largest Buddhist complex Bai Dinh Pagoda to see hundreds of Buddhist statues.

    After lunch, take a sampan boat trip along the Trang An River. Your boat will be steered by local people, so you can relax and enjoy stunning scenery including rising limestone cliffs, water caves, and more. Enjoy your relaxing time while listening to the sound of the paddles sweeping through the calm river.

  • Day 7: Ninh Binh - Halong Bay
    After breakfast, you will be transferred to the signature Halong Bay for a stunning cruise.
    Along the way, you will lose yourself in the jungle-clad limestone isles, emerald waters, mysterious grottoes, thick forests, and hidden caves. When the sunset approaches, standing on deck to catch a majestic sunset view will be an unmissable experience.
    If you are interested, you can choose some optional activities like kayaking, swimming and more to enrich your adventure!

  • Day 8: Halong Bay - Hanoi
    Wake up early and experience an interesting Tai Chi practice. Then you will have an opportunity to explore the Thien Canh Son Cave to witness its beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Later, a leisurely brunch will be served at 9:30.

    Your Halong Bay cruise will come to an end at 10:45 am. After disembarking, you will meet your personal guide and driver at the pier and then take a private transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi (around 4 hours' drive).

    In the evening, follow your guide to delight in a street food tour in Hanoi. Stroll around the bustling local streets in the Old Quarter and savor some delicious Vietnamese food just like the locals.

  • Day 9: Hanoi, Departure
    After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Hanoi. Then you will be escorted to the airport for your departure flight.
